At the time I was living in New York City, I began surveying how others perceive and have perceived me. One of the first impressions came from my family, who always want me to be someone else other than a photographer. These are the roles I do not own.
This is the first time I turned the camera on to myself, presenting myself in different roles my family want or wanted me to be.

(2009-present) In attempt to add a new layer into my narrative structure, Strangers in the House intends to explore some of my own psychology albeit, subtly. These subjects are not my strangers in my own home but rather, I am a stranger in their space.

After participating in Tino Sehgal and Marina Abramovic's performances at the Guggenheim and Museum of Modern Art respectively, my interests in using performative language in my photography began to surface.
