In exploring the need of human contact and interaction, my performative series, Return to Sender, surveys the idea of ownership through the act of receiving a kiss and not returning it. While discussing the notion of power, the imagery confuses viewers as to who is the aggressor: the Kisser actively participating or myself off-camera manipulating the situation in order to achieve a desired result.
